The podcast accompanying Lucas De Man’s book of the same name, about hope and actively seeking hope in times of crisis. We interviewed more than forty experts in Flanders and the Netherlands to explore the book’s themes. In this podcast, we give them the opportunity to speak.

Through interviews and roundtable discussions, we delve into ten different themes: loneliness, farmers and land, democracy, death, economics, mental well-being, building and housing, work, eroticism, and fear. In the interviews, we speak with experts from both theory and practice about their insights and ideas, and especially: how things can and should be different, and what’s already happening. During the roundtable discussions, we talk with guests, and Niels goes on a reportage.

We consistently asked our experts and guests: Where is this going, and what can I do?
