His research focuses on manipulating microbes and soil bacteria to improve groundwater absorption, offering a groundbreaking way to restore drylands and make regions more fertile. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, sustainability is more than just technology\u2014it\u2019s a <strong>social revolution<\/strong>. Coming from a Western scientific background, Makhlouf had to learn how to integrate local knowledge, collaboration, and cultural perspectives to make a <strong>real impact<\/strong>.
