What if buildings were part of nature, not separate from it? Building as a Landscape is a growing exhibition exploring the future of regenerative cities—where nature, infrastructure, and construction merge into one living system. At the heart of the expo is a large-scale model illustrating how water, soil, plants, animals, and people can co-exist in urban environments.
Surrounding the model are real-world mock-ups of biobased, nature-inclusive construction systems. Clear illustrations and insights show how buildings can purify water, reduce heat stress, boost biodiversity, and restore soil.

After debuting at Dutch Design Week 2024, the expo is ready to travel. We’re looking for new venues—festivals, museums, conferences—ready to host the dialogue on the future of our built environment.
Optional programs include storytelling sessions, co-creation workshops, and lectures. Let’s spark imagination, foster innovation, and inspire real change.
