Designed to spark imagination and drive change, The Growing Pavilion highlights the urgent need to move away from fossil-based construction and embrace regenerative, nature-based solutions. Inside, visitors are taken on a storytelling journey, exploring what’s already possible in biobased construction, what the future holds, and the challenges still to overcome.


Since its debut at Dutch Design Week 2019, the pavilion has engaged over 500,000 visitors, including at Floriade Expo 2022 as part of Mycelium Parc.


Recognized globally, it has received awards and accolades, including an Honorary Mention at the STARTS Prize and a Highly Commended Award from Dezeen.
